Brunch at Cape May Ferry Terminal Coast Guard Community Event

The Cape May-Lewes Ferry will host a special Sunday brunch on Sunday, May 8 beginning at 8:30 a.m. as part of the Cape May Coast Guard Community Festival taking place Friday, May 6 ? Sunday, May 8. The event, open to the public, begins with the first of three brunch seatings at 8:30 a.m., with Proclamation presentations beginning at 11 a.m. at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal (1200 Lincoln Blvd, North Cape May, NJ). U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Sunday Brunch ? 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. seatings Enjoy a special brunch for the public and U.S. Coast Guard personnel. Seatings take place at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The cost is $15 per adult (age 14 and older) if reserved by Friday, April 29; $20 per adult if reserved after April 29 or at the door; $12 per child age 3 to 13; children under age 2 are free. The brunch features an ice sculpture in the shape of the USCG emblem and fun, informational fasts facts about the Coast Guard placed on tables for guests to enjoy. Presentations ? 11 a.m. Cape May County Freeholders will present two proclamation awards: ?Coast Guard Community Spouse of the Year? and ?Community Coast Guardian.? The Coast Guard Community Spouse of the Year award will be presented to the to a U.S. Coast Guard spouse who has provided exemplary support for his or her active duty counterpart and family, and who also has enriched the wider community. The Community Coast Guardian award will be presented to an active duty U.S. Coast Guard member with an outstanding record of volunteer service to the Cape May County community. The Foundation will also recognize the winners of the ?What the Coast Guard Means to Me? Art Contest.
